Drafter (Design Engineer)

Their engineering capabilities coupled with the aid of CADD enable the advanced manufacturing techniques to provide beauty and function with the highest quality and most cost-effective foodservice equipment.


JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develp detailed design drawings and specifications for product, using computer assisted drafting (CADD) equipment.
- Lay out and draw schematic, orthographic and angle views to depict functional relationship of component, assemblies and systems.
- Coordinate with and consult other workers design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
- Check dimensions of materials to be used.
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas and relate date to assess factors affecting component designs and the proceedures and instrucions to be followed.
- Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies and reduce production problems.
- Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for products.



KNOWLEDGE:
Design - Knowldge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical parts, blueprints, drawings and models. Auto CAD experience is a MUST.
Engineering and Technology - Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principlas, techniques, proceedures and equipment to the design and production of goods.
Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics and their applications.
Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.

Experience with CAD software


This is a full-time position, M-F 1st shift, with occasional OT. Salary will be based on experience and includes a generous benefits package including: Medical, dental, vision; 401K; Life; STD/LTD.
