EAP Specialist (Senior Counselor)

There are four EAP Specialist (Employee Assistance Program) - Senior Counselor job available in San Antonio, TX. This role requires a Master's degree and 2 years' of relative experience (post-masters). There are 2 shifts available: from 8-4:30pm and 2 shifts from 10-6:30pm. These jobs are scheduled to run through March of 2020, and could offer more.

This is a call-center environment where EAP professionals will provide telephonic mental health services, employee assistance services, triage and special services according to measurable criteria to meet the needs of callers and the contractual obligations of customers. Topics may include: workplace stress, family issues, and mental health needs. Responding to calls and assisting in the coordination of services with the provider. Updating and making clinical notes in the care management database. Strong phone and PC skills are a must.

3-5 years of post graduate experience, or 2-3 years with EAP experience.
EAP certification and/or Experience in Employee Assistance Programming a plus.
Experience in brief cognitive-behavioral and problem solving interventions are necessary.
Assessment skills/experience serving a variety of populations.
Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast paced environment.
