Ecommerce Associate Manager

Adecco is assisting a local client in the publishing and education industry with their need to hire a consultant for a long term open ended assignment. The Ecommerce Associate Manager in this role will collaborate with technical development and QA teams and will be heavily involved in identifying root cause of site related issues. Candidate must be very familiar with AEM, understand video content and SEO implementation. Must have exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to work with business owners in a matrix organization. An understanding of web technologies, and ecommerce is a must.

Responsibilities include:

•             Manage content migration to AEM platform. Lead site optimization, including: A/B and multivariate testing on AEM

•             Manage video placement, SEO and reporting of clicks through third party vendors.

•             Understanding of HTML and use to manage site content.

•             Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout. Occasionally cleaning up outdated content.

•             Liaise with content writers to ensure projects implementation and optimize content according to SEO tags.

•             Manage project definition, deliverables, dependencies and timelines

•             Define and document business and functional requirements to fix customer pain points and enhance user experience

•             Ensures the proper level of communication within and between the technical delivery team and business functions to collaboratively develop web features, identify and resolve defects

•             Work with developers to provide business guidance throughout development and QA cycle



•             3+ years of web content management experience.

•             1+ year SEO experience.

•             Robust experience with CMS. Experience with AEM and Demandware.

•             Fundamental understanding of HTML/CSS, tagging and web publishing.

•             Solid knowledge of best practices in web usability and coding standards.

•             Experience managing short- and long-form content.

•             Strong project management skills, including the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

•             Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

•             Must perform well under deadlines.

•             Bachelor's degree with a quantitative or business focus
