Job Title: Ecommerce Specialist

The Ecommerce Specialist is responsible for day to day activities associated with managing the client’s Online store. Primary activities include maintenance of the product catalog, execution and support for promotional merchandising, producing sales reports, and advising CSR’s on customer concerns. Involves heavy interaction with internal strategic business units (including marketing, IT, and customer service teams), and external vendors.

Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience with online marketing or digital retail. Strong computer skills/experience, especially using complex features in Excel are highly desired.

Responsibilities.

The Ecommerce Specialist will be responsible for handling multiple projects and executing projects through final implementation. This role requires the ability to handle sensitive customer service concerns quickly.

• Manage projects relative to store operations, fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain online product catalog, including product descriptions, product images, unique confirmation messaging, price, system requirements, FAQ’s, promos, etc.
• Be a watchdog for systems integrity by listening to customer complaints or reviewing failure reports and drawing a connection to root cause and effect.
• Interact directly with IT and vendor as needed in support of custom API’s which allow ecommerce products to be sold during test registration.
• Ability to work autonomously but also able to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders including Customer Service, Legal, Finance, Web Designers, Marketing, SBU Stakeholders, Graphic Designers, Content Developers, IT and external vendors.
• Interact with CSR’s to respond to questions and provide guidance on customer service inquiries.
• Very strong computer skills/experience, especially using complex features in Excel
• Solid understanding of ecommerce metrics and analytics data.

Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses:

• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, Ecommerce is necessary.
