Location- Princeton, NJ

Duration- 6 Months + contract

 

The Ecommerce Specialist is responsible for day-to-day activities associated with managing our client’s online store including maintenance of the product catalog, execution and support for promotional merchandising, producing sales reports, and advising customer service representatives on customer concerns. Involves heavy interaction with internal strategic business units (including marketing, IT, and customer service teams), and external vendors. 

The Ecommerce Specialist will be responsible for handling multiple projects and executing projects through final implementation. This role requires the ability to handle sensitive customer service concerns quickly. 

• Manage projects relative to store operations, fulfillment and customer satisfaction. 
• Maintain online product catalog, including product descriptions, product images, unique confirmation messaging, price, system requirements, FAQ’s, promos, etc. 
• Be a watchdog for systems integrity by listening to customer complaints or reviewing failure reports and drawing a connection to root cause and effect. 
• Interact directly with IT and vendor as needed in support of custom API’s which allow ecommerce products to be sold during test registration. 
• Review all customer comments submitted through the online feedback and act on store related comments, which may require direct interaction with customers. 
• Solid understanding of ecommerce metrics and analytics data. 

Education Requirements:
• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, Ecommerce

Relevant Years of Experience Required: 
• Three to seven years of progressively responsible experience with online marketing or digital retail. 
• Very strong computer skills/experience, especially using complex features in Excel. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
