Adecco Creative is assisting our client, a multilingual translation company, in their search for an Editorial Assistant / Assistant Project Manager. This is a full time freelance role, working the evening shift onsite in the client's San Francisco offices (easily accessible by BART) from 2-10pm Mondays through Fridays. The role is paying $25 per hour and is expected to last on a long term/ ongoing basis. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer questions and clarify instructions for the translators
  • Perform data entry, document assessment, database management, and monitoring of deadlines
  • Clearly communicate project details to various internal departments

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years’ administrative experience
  • Experience proofreading is highly desired but not required
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A track record of success in an administrative or support role
  • Superior communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and calmly in high-pressure situations
  • Native-level fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Fluency and/or proficiency in additional languages is highly preferred
