Electric Car Promoter

Adecco is currently assisting one of our clients in downtown Los Angeles looking for Spanish speaking, Part-Time Marketing Ambassadors to promote 100% Electric Car Sharing Program.  If you feel you qualify please apply.

Our client is looking for energetic, outgoing people to carry out promotional, operational, and customer service activities for a new, groundbreaking electric vehicle car sharing service in Los Angeles. This role will involve interacting with many people as the face of this new and exciting program, as well as performing various operational responsibilities once the program gets under way.

Responsibilities for the Marketing Ambassador position include, but are limited to:

  • Maintaining vehicle cleanliness (interior and exterior), as well as station cleanliness (Cleaning vehicles and stations)
  • Driving vehicles to and from charging stations in order to balance the fleet. Driving vehicles to and from headquarters, body shop, car wash, etc.
  • Ensuring that the service operates correctly: track any issues and redirect to the right service, do routine preventative maintenance checks
  • Handling service anomalies (cars not plugged in correctly, cars parked outside of stations, forgotten items, etc.)
  • Assisting customers: Resolve customer service issues, report and await assistance in the event of an accident
  • Street marketing: speak to people about the service and how it works
  • Proactively approach people to sell them memberships
  • Working events: set up booths, bring vehicles, conduct workshops, advocate and promote the service
  • Carry out test-drives of the vehicles
  • Research and outreach: target places and events for promotional activities
  • Complete post event reports

    To be considered for the Marketing Ambassador position, you should:

  • Pay Rates: $16-$18
  • Fun, energetic, outgoing
  • A strong sense of customer care
  • Honest, reliable, independent, well-organized, and good communication/presentation skills
  • An excellent driver with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Bilingual Spanish & English
  • Ability to use specialized software (i.e. PDA)
  • Compliance with rules and instructions (process, security, traffic rules)
  • Operations experience (retail, hospitality, events)
  • Sales/Marketing experience a plus
  • Willing to work some evenings and weekend hours
