Title: Seeking talented Electrical Assemblers for the La Porte, TX.

Adecco is currently seeking talented, hard workers that have prior experience working in a manufacturing environment Electrical Assemblers. Employees will be working for a dynamic company in the La Porte, TX area. This is a day shift position, Monday – Friday. If you meet the qualifications below, please Apply Now! Hourly rate is $16.00 - $17.00 per hour. This temp to hire position, must be able to work 40 hours with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Read and understand the schematic diagrams, blueprints, product manuals, process documents, and gather information regarding its parts, fixtures, tools, etc.
• Hands on experience in electrical and mechanical assembly using drills and assorted hand tools. Soldering experience would be a plus.
• To set up, arrange, and operate equipment as per the specifications and instructions from the supervisor.
• To assemble parts or components to build a final assembly
• To perform regular test and inspection procedures to ensure that the product is produced in accordance with the specifications
• To implement and identify needs for improvement by conveying it to the assembly supervisor, so that quality of products is maintained
• To maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment and ensure the compliance with the company's rules and policies
• To make sure that all the parts, labor, and other processes are progressing at the given time
• Adhere to time and attendance requirements.
• Adhere to company dress code requirements
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Essential Skills
• Good hand and eye coordination with demonstrated excellent manual dexterity for precision alignment.
• Ability to lift heavy items not to exceed 25 pounds.
• They need to stand and work for long hours performing the same task repetitively
• Ability to learn and master new assembly skills along with effective communication skills.

Educational Requirements
A high school diploma or a general educational diploma is desired but not mandatory.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Capable of handling problem resolution in a calm and clear manner.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must have the ability to learn new software and navigate the internet with ease.
• IPC-620A trained
• Cable Assembly
• Mechanical Assembly
• Panel Assembly
• Soldering small and large gauge wire
• Crimping and stripping of small and large gauge wire
• Use of DVM and Meg-Ohm meter
• Interpret wiring diagrams and customer assembly drawings
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
• Good use of shop and hand tools
