Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer would report to ownership is responsible for the planning, design and oversight of the installation, operation and maintenance of electrical components, equipment and systems. In addition, this role performs standard engineering assignments usually representing a significant portion of a larger project. This role selects engineering techniques to solve problems and make design recommendations.


Participates as a team member in a specific phase of a broad engineering assignment.
Directs preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned projects.
Provides technical leadership to a small group of temporarily assigned technicians.
Ensures successful completion of the assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints.
Participates in defining engineering approaches, and in planning and scheduling work.
Performs other related duties as required.


Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.


Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from four-year college or university.
Minimum of three years related experience.
