Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a fulltime Electrical / Mechanical Assembler in Lewiston, Maine.

You will safely and efficiently assemble and test fabricated mechanical systems and subassemblies and package the items for shipment as well as to assemble, work with, troubleshoot and interconnect electrical components, electrical wiring, wiring components and electrical circuits while using wiring diagrams, electrical knowledge and available resources

Monday through Friday 1st shift
paying $15/hr or more d.o.e.
This is a temporary to hire position.


A. Works safely and uses Company safety rules to guide safe work practices
B. Maintains a clean and orderly workspace
C. Works collaboratively and respectfully with peers
D. Produces quality products in a timely fashion, with priorities outlined and as instructed from shop order packets, drawings and verbal instructions
E. Properly documents work and job time, using process as specified by appropriate lead person and/or manager
F. Performs analysis and repairs on overhead equipment, beneath machines and in close quarters
G. Follows all instructions of lead persons
H. Notifies lead persons of any material, tool or equipment malfunctions or issues, missing or defective parts and of any unsafe conditions
I. Asks the lead persons questions about prints, order packets, or any other instructions
J. Reports to work on time and notifies lead persons in advance to request time off
K. Works efficiently when punched in, as instructed by lead persons, and use the last five (5) minutes of the shift to clean and pick up your work area
L. Notifies lead persons when tasks have been completed
M. Adheres to all the established department and company standard operating procedures
N. Uses machines and hand tools to fabricate, cut, punch, form, assemble, pack, store, spot weld or coat pieces to required specifications.
O. Verifies work is of expected quality regularly
P. Makes adjustments during operations where changes in work and set-up are necessary to achieve requisite dimensions
Q. Starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures and with OSHA requirements
R. Works from makeshift and conventional jigs and fixtures
S. Works from bill of materials, layouts, sketches, and drawings


A. High School diploma or its equivalent; vocational or technical school training preferred
B. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in related field
C. Must have the ability to understand, perform and create a working environment that holds a high regard for safety policies
D. Must be proficient in reading blue prints
E. Must have tools required in the mechanical trade
