Electro Mechanical Technician

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Electro Mechanical Technician!

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity that offers full benefits and a competitive salary! With this opportunity you would be responsible for a variety of skilled tasks such as troubleshooting and repairing AC and DC motor controls, single and 3 phase electrical circuits, electronic drives, and PLC controls. You will be working electrical conduit and machine wiring installation of motors up to 600 hp, fabricate and install brackets and mounting for electrical boxes and disconnects.
Inspect, test and clean AC and DC motors and replace brushes as needed.
Perform PM’s on thermo-formers, trim presses, extrusion equipment and support equipment.

Shift: 2nd & 3rd open
Pay: VERY competitive, depends of experience. ($20-$26/HR)

The most successful candidates have the following skillsets:

Perform planned electrical maintenance on all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming process to ensure the integrity of electrical systems

Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repair/maintain all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming process including trim presses extruders, formers, crystallizers, dryers, conveyors, and grinders

Modifies new and existing equipment for performance improvements and upgrades

Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

Responsible for ensuring housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility are safe, clean and tidy

Follows all company established rules and policies

Adhere to all safety rules and regulations

3-5 Years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing organization

Must knowledgeable in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, blueprint reading (mechanical/electrical), welding and fabrication

Must have High School Diploma or equivalent

Previous electrical experience with troubleshooting capabilities

Previous mechanical experience with troubleshooting capabilities

Knowledge of PLCs is preferred

Should have own tools; company will provide additional specialty tools if necessary

Proficient with computers is a plus

Good communication skills are required to communication with supervision and other Departments
