Adecco is assisting a client local to Binghamton, NY in their search for candidates with electronic and mechanical assembly skills in relation to Printed Circuit Boards.

Candidates must be willing to work a 1st shift schedule, Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm.
Starting pay is $12.00/hour and can be influenced by correlating experience.

Applicants with experience in the following roles with be considered:
- Soldering
- Board prep
- Conformal coat
- Bonding, masking
- Testing and cleaning modules
- Running pick & place machines
- Operating any other machines utilized in electronic assembly processes

Candidates with soldering experience must be able to perform through-hole, surface mount and jumper wire soldering as well as IPC-610 Inspection/touch-up. Those interviewing for soldering with be asked to complete a Solder skills test as part of the interview process.

? Works from process sheets, drawings and written/verbal instructions to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances.
? Participate in meetings to determine work priorities.
? Commitment to customer and business focus in areas such as quality of work, attendance and productivity. Overtime may be required.
? Adherence to company policies such as safety, respect for others, integrity and workplace rules.
? Willingness to attend additional training, either OJT or off-site training recommended by the management staff to further personal development.

? High School Diploma or GED required.
? US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien (Green Card) required due to defense contract requirements.
? Candidates must be able to work with a microscope and perform touchup soldering.
? IPC-610 certification preferred

? Motivated individual, fast learner, and capable of working independently
? Must have aptitude and the physical abilities to learn soldering and become solder certified
? Must have knowledge of prototype, assembly drawings and blueprint reading.
? Must be able to perform soldering and mechanical assembly of a complex and critical nature that may require an extensive knowledge of techniques, tools, materials, military standards and ISO 9000.
? Effective interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills and abilities to facilitate effective teamwork with others
? Develops and encourages original, creative and successful approaches to issues; continually improves processes; takes smart risks.
