Adecco Staffing is assisting a local client in their search to find a Electronic Maintenance Technician on 3rd shift.  In this role you will be responsible for trouble shooting and repairing electronic systems and controls on production equipment. Will perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance procedures on electrical and mechanical systems to ensure optimum performance.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Diagnoses machine/equipment malfunction and determines need for adjustment or repair. 
  • Works with equipment operators and vendors on major production equipment and system repairs including pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, gears, sprockets, chains, stream control, air control systems, and boilers. 
  • Handles electrical repairs and installations by installing wires, motors, controllers, electrical fixtures.
  • Gathers data on equipment to contribute to problem solving on PLC and AC frequency drives.
  • Ability to read and understand complex instructions, prints, flowcharts and schematics.
  • Ability to work on all types of drive controllers. 
  • Accomplished in the use of a variety of test equipment and machine tools. 
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with others and shows high level of cooperation including the sharing of knowledge/skills.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field. Preference is to have completed or be in the process of completing Bachelor’s degree in these fields.
  • Three to five years of experience in electrical and mechanical diagnostic and repair in an industrial production environment preferred.  
  • Individual must be quality conscious, detail oriented, self-motivated and reliable.
  • Strong planning and project management skills combined with ability to drive to fast and efficient results in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
