Job: Engineering Intern
Location: Batesville, MS, 38606
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 month contract with possibility of extension of assignment
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour / depending on experience with the qualifications below



Specific to NPI line functions, this role involves supporting the NPI Process Specialist in execution of the program plan to bring new product lines from development to production ready. Individuals must be capable of understanding complex production processes. This role will require development of work instructions in PowerPoint. In order to perform the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for the majority of the shift and work in a fast-paced production environment.

Core Responsibilities:

Documenting the part production process to create work instructions
Assist in resolving any issues during trial part processing
Measuring results from trial parts
Assist in the training of production associates in preparation for OJT approval
Assist in data analysis and identification of root cause for any process deviations

Qualifications/Requirements:

Student in good academic standing and pursuing a Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline; Mechanical, Industrial and Chemical are preferred.
Availability to work 40 hours (Monday – Friday) starting January 2019 thru June 2019 at the Batesville location.

Previous MS Office Suite experience (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Junior or Senior level student
