� The Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting the Engineering and R&D groups.


� Research and data analysis.
� Work independently as well as within the context of a team.
� Maintain records as required.
� Risk Analysis Activities including but not limited to DFMEA , PFMEA.
� Assist in Product Validation, and Customer Complaint Testing.
� Assist in Process Validation.
� Process training and documentation.
� Be familiar with the use of micrometers, dial calipers and other measuring devices.
� Understand and execute against SOP�s and Work Instructions.
� Develop and Write SOP�s and Work Instructions.
� Follow applicable work instructions.
� Follow established company policies.
� Follow all established health and safety policies.
� Other duties as assigned.


� Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
� Some CAD / Drafting Experience. Solidworks preferably
� Understanding of Bill of Material (BOM).
� Capable of reading and understanding drawings, manuals, and engineering specifications.
� Familiarity with ISO standards, GMP, and OSHA regulations.
� Process Validations and Risk Analysis FMEA / DFMEA.
� Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of management.
� Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluating situations.
� Must be detail oriented.
� Good leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills.
� Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
� Must be a self starter, independent and be able to work in a fast paced and challenging environment. � Good written and oral communication skills.
� Strong computer skills, Math skills, and project leadership will be the primary focus.
� This position will interact with all areas of the business inclusive of leading cross functional projects.
� Dependability and ability to adapt to change are essential.
� Ability to read, write and communicate in English.


� Minimum of four years in a technical or regulatory related position.
� Experience and familiarity with leading cross functional groups.
� Strong computer skills.
� Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as applicable with the ability to learn other applicable programs as necessary.
� Able to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.
� Technical writing skills including developing SOP�s and Work Instructions.
� Strong written and verbal communication skills including strong presentation skills.
� Project management, planning and organizing abilities.
� Ability to perform arithmetic and statistical computations.
� Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
� Experience working with CAD is preferred.
� FMEA Training Preferred.

� High School Diploma/GED required
� Advanced coursework, AA/AS degree desired


� Primarily an office environment; must be able to use all office equipment (PC, phone, fax, copier, etc)
� Limited temperature fluctuations, air conditioned environment
� Exposure to general manufacturing environment


� Must be able to sit/stand for at least 4 hours at a time.
� Have normal eye/hand motor coordination and the ability to grasp and hold small objects.
� Possess a normal extended reach.
� Consistently uses manual dexterity.
� Have the ability to determine color acuity.
� Must be able to travel via car or plane to designated areas.
� Must be able to transport, lift, and demonstrate materials, product and equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
