  • Type: Fulltime (40 hours / week) contract
  • Length: 3+ month contract
  • Pay: $19.00
  • Shift: 8a-5p

    Responsibilities for this Escrow Assistant job include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides support to Escrow department by assisting with customer service and administrative duties related to escrow closings. 
  • Opens orders, inputs closing statements from a worksheet prepared by Escrow Officer. 
  • Prepares documents for closing and handles the complete disbursement and follow up of all escrow transactions. 
  • Communicates requirements and other information to clients including Title exceptions in addition to handling post-closing issues and general request regarding title policies.  
  • Prepare all documents required for transactions along with experience in curative; adept understanding of vesting, security instruments, liens, judgements, taxes as it relates to title; excellent communication skills both verbal and written, fast paced environment

    Qualifications for this Escrow Assistant job:

  • Must be able to hit the ground running and team oriented
  • 1- 2 years’ experience as an Escrow Asst I or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related real estate or title field
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Detail orientation
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Previous Title experience preferred
