The Business Entity 
What You'll Do : You will help us deliver on the Cloud Security Marketing business plan by leading Field Event Marketing demand generation programs as part of the broader cloud security campaign, including GTM strategy, execution of activities, deliverables, and initiatives including social media.This is a strategic role that is still hands-on and tactical. 

Who You'll Work With 
You will work with Cloud Security sellers and system engineers, team members within the Cloud Security Revenue Marketing team as well as the larger Cisco security marketing team in the planning, progress and execution of field event marketing programs. 

About the Role

If so, the Field Event Marketing Specialist position is the perfect opportunity to turn your passions into a rewarding career. In this role, you will meticulously plan and execute field events and marketing programs for prospective Cisco Cloud Security customers, working closely with our internal sales teams and other extended departments. There will be potential travel to support local events and be able to interact with prospective customers at the events you plan, and engage in meaningful conversations as you educate our market on the Cisco Umbrella portfolio of B2B cloud security solutions. 

Role & Responsibilities 
● Assist with or manage multiple events ranging from small to large events/tradeshows, including Tier 1 events from start to post event 
● Effectively drive and create an integrated event marketing campaign 
● Research industry events to identify new field opportunities and make recommendations 
● Responsible for flawless event execution on-site and off-site 
● Assist manager to track department budget, assist in the process of vendor contracts, invoices and follow up working closely with department financial analyst 
● Prepare reports which help to evaluate event sponsorship ROI 
● Complete administrative and other duties as assigned to meet department goals and event projects. 

Minimum Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business discipline. 
● 3-5 years of experience in field event planning and demand generation experience. 
● Have an advance knowledge of the principles of effective event marketing. 
● Excellent organization, writing skills and time management. 
● Working knowledge (preference, experienced knowledge and execution) of Salesforce and other Marketing Tools such as Marketo or Eloqua. 
● Experience and ability to work with executive level team members 
● Ability to handle moving parts, switch gears quickly, and effectively work on multiple projects at the same time. 
● Must be able to travel if needed 
● Individual has worked in the high tech industry and has experience in the Security industry (Preference) 

Desired Skills
● GREAT attention to detail, highly organized and able to drive the “big picture”. 
● Field Event Marketing experience preferred 
● Experience building great report with sales teams 
● Fun, high energy with a talent for diplomacy 
● Grace under pressure 
● Carrying, lifting, lowering assets weighing up to 50 lbs.
