Event Producer
The Event Producer coordinates all logistical aspects of DEI Event Sponsorship as well as other events as assigned by the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. This role includes managing landscape calendars for event sponsorship and activations, working cross functionally to ensure collaborative work when necessary on both internally and externally facing events, thinking creatively about activation work as well as problem solving, generating and managing budgets, opening and managing Purchase Orders as well as other legal and financial documentation, managing registration and invite processes, all event logistics and operations, managing caterers and BEOs, and coordinating with agency vendors. This position specifically oversees the coordination of multiple events such as training programs, luncheons, and third-party events.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage all events as determined by the Director of DEI, including internal and external activations.
  • Assist with the preparation and/or coordination of budgets, menus, sound, lighting, rentals and music for events in addition to operations and logistics
  • Serve as a liaison with agency partners, catering, security, building, and technical personnel as needed
  • Create post event wrap up reports that track metrics such as: attendance, budget, sentiment, etc.
  • Work cross functionally to determine how to best execute on cross functional goals
  • Other duties as assigned.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in special events required
  • Excellent organizational, writing and communications skills required
  • Strong understanding of event logistics from a production background
  • Experience with activations at third party events and conferences
  • Some travel is required
