Provides vital assistance to a bank's top executive officer. The Admin. Assistant will have contact with board members and has to handle confidential information in a professional way. When the executive is unavailable, the Admin. Assistant is the point of contact for other officers within the bank as well as auditors, other staff members, and members of the public. Other duties of an Exec. Admin. Assistant include coordinating calendars for the bank's top executives, preparring statistical reports, and possibly screening phone calls and emails.

These duties include planning and scheduling meetings, conducting research, organizing and maintaining both paper and electronic files, and handling travel arrangements. They must be trained to use many different types of office equipment, (scanners, telephone systems, photocopiers and fax machines). The professional will also maintain databases, prepare spreadsheets, prepare presentations, and compose correspondence. They may also purchase supplies, negotiate with vendors, and distribute information. The candidate may be responsible for training new staff and/or supervising clerical staff.

-Calendar management of CEO
-Manage CEO emails
-Compose letters for CEO
-Explain, advise on and promote bank products and services to customers
-Interact with local chambers of commerce, development agencies, solicitors, accountants, etc.
-Record all transactions promptly, accurately and in compliance with bank procedures
-Schedule meetings and make travel arrangments
-Perform specialized and additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

-High school required, Bachelor Degree Preferred
-5+ years of relevant work experience
-Banking industry experience preferred, not required

Skills & Abilities:

-Must be very organized (Agenda/Meetings/Schedules)
-Candidate must be able to keep up with the fast pace of change
-Highly experienced in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
-Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written
-Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
-Ability to multi-task
