Job Description:

Amazon.com is seeking an exceptionally bright, self-motivated and project focused individual to support our Vice President of our B2B International business in Seattle, Washington. Come be a part of a multi-national team focused on growing Amazon’s international B2B business.

This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to proactively jump in and take on tasks. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is critical. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without requiring specific direction or having to know the complete picture. Experience working with distributed teams and international time zones a plus.

Responsibilities for this position include the ability to partner with the executive team to create a seamless support environment, to think and plan ahead, to handle multiple concurrent responsibilities appropriately, and manage time effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Heavy international travel coordination and expense reconciliation
-Organization of quarterly team meetings and conferences
-Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements/International Travel Coordination
-Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
-This position will work with other business leaders and assistants throughout the team and across the company
-A lot of it will be expense reports (Excel/Pivot Tables/etc.)
-Engagement with external teams for travel/logistics

Minimum of 5 years of experience assisting in a fast-paced environment
Ideally would like to see 7-10 years of experience supporting VP level executives
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio, Amazon Chime, experience doing expense reports

Experience supporting a global team with employees in multiple locations.
Detailed planning, time management and organizational skills
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Team and Customer Service orientation: ability to work cooperatively to achieve objectives
Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround
Calm under pressure, and the ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice
Positive, proactive and able to have fun at work and help others do the same
Bachelor’s degree

We won't be able to keep up with our normal schedules of meetings, business reviews, etc., or else the VP will need to carve out roughly two hours a day for scheduling and meeting coordination.
