SUMMARY:
This role will support 3 VP's within Optum, one in MN, one in AZ and one in NY. They will report directly to the VP in MN at Optum onsite and the others they will support remotely.

As a Senior Administrative Assistant on the Relationship Office team, you will be supporting several of the team’s senior leaders. This team is committed to improving the Optum customer experience through collaborative relationships based on quality, added value and trust. We continually improve how we work and partner with our customers by developing a deeper understanding of their needs and by building stronger relationships. These relationships include UnitedHealthcare, customers UnitedHealthcare and Optum share and Optum direct customers.

DESCRIPTION:
• Provide administrative support to four Senior Vice Presidents
• Manage calendars, coordinate travel, prepare expense reports
• Create PowerPoints, Excel Spreadsheets and Word Tables
• Manage onsite and offsite meeting arrangements
• Onboard new employees / coordinate the return of equipment for termed employees
• Business Segment Liaison (BSL) responsibilities for the team
• Evaluate calls in terms of importance and use independent judgment to take action

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of senior level administrative experience
• Managing multiple projects within a fast paced professional office environment
• Microsoft Word (Current proficiency: Documentation, mail-merge and editing tables in Word)
• Microsoft PowerPoint (Current proficiency: Creating, editing, adding animation to presentations)
• Microsoft Excel (Current proficiency: Creating and editing spreadsheets)
• Preferred Assets:
• Associate or higher level degree
• Prefer current experience to be within a large organization
• WebEx experience is preferred
• Experience or familiarity working within SharePoint sites

• Handle confidential information discretely
• Interact with individuals at all levels of the organization including customers, vendors, and client members
• Must be flexible and willing to assist others with prime focus on the Senior VPs
• Work independently and be a self-starter who can work within a changing environment
• Ability to work as a team player with a positive attitude
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills in a professional environment


This is a 4+ month contract opportunity with possibilities for extension and full-time conversion.
