Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details:
Job Title: Executive Assistant
Shift: Mon-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Location: Torrance, CA
Pay Rate: 18.00/hr.

Description


Performs diverse administrative and assistant-oriented services which are often confidential or sensitive in nature, requiring some independent judgment and initiative.
Participates in special analytical projects requiring research and analysis, including compiling reports, researching information and summarizing data. Based on project results, may make appropriate recommendations to management.
Participates in annual budget preparation by gathering information from other department members for submission to management. May assist in monitoring budget throughout the fiscal year and identifies any areas of concern.
May train others in various procedural and administrative functions; serves as the initial contact for all departmental administrative matters.
Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries and communicates with outside contacts. Refers the most complex issues to supervision, but deals with routine issues. Contacts are made with internal and external individuals and are often of a highly confidential nature.
Composes correspondence without supervision or direction; assists supervision by preparing draft correspondence for signature.
Performs a variety of administrative duties, including opening and review of mail, scheduling travel arrangements (both on-site and off-site meetings), submitting travel expenses, ordering supplies and maintenance of files.
Performs general administrative duties and other duties as may be required.
Experience supporting senior executives (VP level or higher)
Experience managing executive calendars
Experience setting up meetings: scheduling conference rooms, setting up videoconference equipment, sending notifications, order food deliveries, etc.

Excellent organizational skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Self-motivated and results-oriented


Desired:

Previous experience support Senior Executives
College degree desired but not required
