Adecco is currently assisting our client, one of the nation's largest full-line industrial distributors, in a search for an Expeditor for its headquarters in Washington, PA.

Responsibilities will include-
Receiving all open sales orders to identify the delivery demands and availability of material to meet customer requirements.
Contacting the vendors to expedite required material to resolve problem identified in the sales order review process.
Notify buyers with problem items and chages in delivery status.
Notify the appropriate sales department of the problem and possible resolution so that necessary corrective action can be determined.
Perform sales order and purchase order system maintenance to support the decisions and corrective action identified by the sales department personnel.
Fill in for sales people - quoting customers, entering orders, sourcing material.
Answering phones - transferring calls- using PA system. Greet customer and vendor walk-ins.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications -

One year of training beyond high school or equivalent
Must possess a minimum of 1-2 years of related warehouse experience in mine-related industry, with computer skills and emphasis on customer service.
Must possess knowledge of computer with MS Word, MS Excel, and database skills.
Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
