Job Summary:
Facility Coordinator under the direction of the Supervisor, Executive Operations follows established procedures and guidelines to accurately maintain Corporate office and assisting with R&D operations. The Facility Coordinator will possess the mechanical and analytical abilities to perform general maintenance and repair on the building in a proactive manner while coordinating these activities with their Manager.
Responsibilities include: Manage Corporate and R&D maintenance contractors, assist with managing fleet expenses, Corporate buildings maintenance, participate and act as a member of the Corporate emergency response team.

Essential Functions :
1. To schedule Facility services and create requisitions for purchase orders after fully ensuring service costs are within budget.
2. Ensure all contractors are controlled onsite and have completed pre-job safety reviews prior to initiating work
3. Ensure general supplies are maintained as required for general building upkeep (ie spare bulbs, paper supplies, diesel fuel for generator, office supplies)
4. Consistently ensure contractor list is updated with proper contact information, current PO, and stored in the facility shared folder
5. Ensure contractors have been through the proper safety review
6. Establish a preventative maintenance plan and keep it evergreen with the list of ongoing activities
7. Work with manager to establish and maintain annual budget for contractor activities
8. Monitor and update GE Fleet driver list and ensure vehicle tags are maintained up to date
9. Update driver and vehicle list in fleet system as necessary
10. Responding to general building issues (i.e. lighting, minor electrical, mechanical, temperature adjustments, etc.) and repairing when appropriate and not endangering personal or public safety.
11. Respond to request for office minor repairs and modifications (i.e. broken chairs, hanging pictures, file cabinets, desk adjustments)
12. Complete weekly housekeeping and maintenance inspections and document ongoing corrective action list through completion.
13. Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED and 2-4 years of experience. Prior maintenance and facilities operations experience is required.

Qualifications:
1. Excellent analytical skills
2. Excellent organizational skills
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
4. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel with working knowledge of PowerPoint
5. NFPA 70e Electrical safety training
6. First responder training preferred


Physical Requirements:
This position requires frequent communication, both written and oral, and use of a computer keyboard or appropriate substitute. This position requires repetitive movement of hands and fingers for typing and writing. It also requires continuous standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing and reaching with hands and arms. This position frequently requires lifting up to 75 pounds. Occasionally, this position requires travel to other company locations.

Work Environment:
The work environment for this position is an office environment with moderate noise from computers, printers, and light traffic. Occasionally, this position may work in a manufacturing plant environment with loud noise from heavy machinery where there is exposure to adverse weather conditions, hazardous chemicals, odors, dirt and dust.
