Facilities Technician

A Facilities Technician job is available in your area. This a contract to hire role through Adecco Medical & Science. We are looking for someone who has had maintenance & facilities experience (within lab environment is desired). You will be a part of a team who adheres to the upkeep of a well-known laboratory based in San Diego.

Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: Rancho Bernardo, CA 92127
Schedule: MON-FRI 8AM-5PM/Looking for flexibility for OT
Compensation: Negotiable

Job duties:

Maintaining cleanliness of facility grounds included but limited to: restrooms, offices, laboratory etc.
Assist with general building repairs
Minor repairs of: electricity, plumbing, building systems, roof leaks etc.
Assist with installation of reconfigurations, installs, remounts of office furniture/spaces
Respond to emergency calls regarding facility repairs

Reports any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
Performs other job duties as assigned
Must be available for occasional rotation for afterhours emergency coverage


HS diploma

At least 3 years relevant work experience
Experience in laboratory environment highly desirable
Desired certifications:

California HVAC Certification or equivalent experience
California Electrician Certification or equivalent experience
California Plumbing License or equivalent experience
