Facility Maintenance Manager

Adecco Employment is seeking an experienced Maintenance Facility Manager for a Local Spring Branch non-profit organization. Seeking a minimum of 5 years facility maintenance management experience. Ideal candidate will have Certifications in Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical related industries. Forklift and backhoe operation/certification preferred.


This position is Direct Hire with our client

Pay is $47,500.00 Annually

Typical shift is Monday-Friday / 8am-5pm (Overtime and weekends required as needed)



Facilities Management

• Responsible for leadership, daily supervision, training, scheduling, decisions for hiring and termination, and conducts performance evaluation and corrective actions for Maintenance staff

• Establish and maintain communication between Administration and Program staff

• Prioritize, delegate and monitor maintenance requests daily

• Record maintenance requests and provide monthly maintenance reports to Supervisor

• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and give updates and time for completion

• Assist with delivery and moving of furniture

• Serve as member of facility Safety Committee

• Conduct weekly inspections of buildings, grounds and vehicles and report findings to Supervisor

• Maintain physical plant and grounds at levels to pass State/City licensing inspections

• Report any work hazards

• Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with State/City/County licensing authorities to ensure facility buildings and grounds meet code regulations

• Install and repair mechanical, motor, lighting, plumbing and electrical fixtures and appliances

• Responsible for minor construction and carpentry repairs

• Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing equipment and rebuild faucets, disposals, washers, water heaters and sinks

• Check for electrical defects and makes repairs to wiring and electrical devices

• Maintain swimming pool water and chemical levels

• Maintain and ensure facility vehicles meet maintenance and safety standards

• Maintain master key set for facility buildings and vehicles

• Responsible for facility trash, recycling and grounds upkeep

• Operate forklift and backhoe to ensure roads are clean and clear

• Assist with unloading and storing of supplies

• Assist with donation pick-up and delivery

• Maintain MSDS book for chemicals

• Ensure compliance with MSDS for chemicals

• Perform Property Supervision and maintenance duties as required.

• Other related duties as assigned
