Adecco is searching for a Contract, Facility Manager for one of our large clients in Atlanta, GA.



Duration: 3 months (possible temp to perm)

Pay Rate: $31.25 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm


PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
This position is responsible for managing the facility function within the Company for a specific location or locations.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
1. Responsible for managing all facilities functions at a specific location or locations including building maintenance, electrical and mechanical systems, fire protection systems, CMMS systems, work order management, safety programs, reception, security, and audiovisual systems. Manage contracts with external vendors providing related services and equipment. Develops short and long term goals for areas of responsibility. Participates on committees and in programs for safety, fire prevention, disaster recovery, sustainability, “green initiatives”, etc. 40%

Hires, develops, evaluates, and (when necessary) disciplines and discharges subordinates personnel or makes authoritative recommendations in such matter. Develops function-specific orientation and training programs for area personnel. Establishes standards for effective job performance and evaluates subordinates according to such standards. Delegates these responsibilities to supervisory personnel as appropriate. 20%

Assist in space planning, standards development, manage/oversee cubicle redesign and rebuild, electrical and/or mechanical changes made on properties. Assist in overseeing construction projects and supervise contractors. Manage all building services including, but not limited to: janitorial, landscaping, building services, painting, and asset inventory. Review all charges for vendor provided services including utility bills for water, sewer and energy management projects. 20%

Remains abreast of developments in the field(s) by pursuing a program of self development, participating in professional organizations, interacting with peers, reviewing pertinent literature, and so forth. Incorporates advancements when practicable and cost effective. 10%

Works closely with Company’s safety, legal, risk management, and procurement teams in developing contracts and RFP’s. 10%


RESPONSIBILITY FOR WORK OF OTHERS
Manages a variety of different roles within the facilities organization. Will vary by location.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
Develops, secures approval of, and administers an operating budget for attainment of agreed upon goals in accordance with approved plans. Must have prior experience in managing budgets and forecasting.


REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
2. Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in facility management for a large corporation including detailed knowledge of build systems and infrastructure. This includes strategically thinking “out of the box” on cost reduction programs and projects for improving operations.
3. Familiar with OSHA, State, and local safety policies and regulations.
4. Must have strong knowledge of building codes.
5. Must have a strong knowledge of CMMS planning with an emphasis on preventative maintenance and leading maintenance teams.
6. Knowledge of human resource policies and procedures; area-specific policies and procedures; facility occupancy planning and usage; space planning; security and safety requirements; local rules and regulations; specific environmental or regulatory covenants associated with site usage and/or facilities operations; energy savings and management; HVAC, electrical and engineering systems; bidding; purchasing; negotiating and contracting.
7. Good judgment, collaboration, and teamwork, strategic agility, decision making, and assist in building and leading teams.
8. Must have a proven track record in working in a complex matrixed facilities and maintenance environment with the complexities of meeting the diverse needs of multiple business units.
9. Proficient in utilizing CMMS, project management and Microsoft systems
