Field Service Engineer

Candidate should have basic terminology knowledge of modern CNC machinery and/or Windows XP based computer/software, and good communication and telephone skills.

At the beginning, Technicians have to take care of inventory status. Packaging and shipping of spare parts in order to become familiar with mechanical components and software programs or machines.

Later on, Technician can achieve a position as a Field Service Engineer which includes availability to travel most of the time within 3-12 months
Specific training will be provided at Headquarters in Italy, Europe.

Some essential job functions will include the following:

Identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve customer/ equipment issues in a pleasant, professional and timely manner.
Provide electro-mechanical component replacement via telephone.
Record customer interactions and problem data accurately.
Develop knowledge-base documents (FAQ’s) for specific issue resolution.
Perform machine installation, training and demo.
Attend to shows and exhibitions if required, as a technical support for installation of machines.

Basic Requirements:

College degree- preferred with at least 5-10 years of experience in an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering field.
Languages: English (Spanish preferred but not required)
Availability to travel around the U.S. and Canada, South America and sometimes in Europe or other countries.
