Field Service Technician

What we are looking for: Field Service Technician in Danville, VA. Pay is $20-$27 per hour, depending on level of experience.

We are looking for a talented Field Service Technician who can hit the ground running. As a Field Service Technician for this client you will possess strong repair skills and provide unmatched service to our customers. You will perform vibration signature analysis, thermographic imaging and various electrical tests as you diagnose and repair units. We are always available to our customers because you can’t predict when a motor will breakdown—flexible work hours are a must for this team.

Relevant Experience:

Must have PdMA testing experience
Able to perform basic math functions
Able to understand, perform and retain various job related training, operational, and safety procedures
Able to work overtime and weekends as required
Must be able to work in the Virginia area during the week
Valid Driver’s License


Responsibilities:

Perform electrical tests using various portable electronic equipment including by not limited to: Megger®, PdMA MCE, Doble®, and Entek equipment
Interpret and ensure compliance with operating policies and procedures
Clean electro-mechanical equipment as needed using various method including but not limited to: bead blasting, ice blasting, and solvent cleaning
Maintain close relationships with customers as well as the sales, marketing, field service, and service center technical teams
