Field Service Technician

Adecco Direct Placement is recruiting on behalf of our client in the Greenville, SC area for the position of Field Service Technician. Our client is seeking candidates who have a strong troubleshooting background in HVAC, are technically proficient, client-driven, and who have performed maintenance work in the past. Duties:

Perform service and troubleshoot on our equipment from the office via telephone/email or on site with a customer
Perform service and installations of manufacturing equipment at customer location
Provide written reports of all onsite visits for service and/or installations
Work with the commercial and engineering departments to assure customer’s technical needs are understood and achieved
Attend meetings at customer locations to support their projects as needed
Open to pre-office hour calls from our headquarters in Florence, Italy to communicate information and receive product support
Must be willing to travel throughout North American market
Willing to travel outside of normal office hours
Occasionally must travel by company car from office to customer locations

Qualifications:

Basic computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
High School Diploma and/or Associate Degree
Must have basic training in working safely with electricity
Basic HVAC/R knowledge
Able to communicate clearly and professionally through emails and phone calls
Must be detail-oriented and possess proficient skill working with tools
Must be prepared to pass background, drug, driving and credit screening
