Position: Field Service Technician– Direct Hire Opportunity Location: Cincinnati,OH Must be willing to travel 75% of the time within the Greater Cincinnati Area to support & service clients Start Date: Jan. 2016, 2 month training period Open to Junior, Mid-Level, and Senior Skill Levels for this role (salaries vary) Position Overview: The Field Service Technician is responsible for the demonstration, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, implementation updates and operation of machine controls at customer facilities. Outstanding communication skills, demonstration of area standards in attendance, teamwork, housekeeping and leading by example are vital for the Field Service Technician position. Demonstrating flexibility when confronted with high stress and emergency situations, priority changes and new assignments are critical to this position. This position requires travel and may include the lifting, handling and transportation of heavy equipment and parts. Responsibilities: Operate machines and associated equipment in a customer’s plant to prepare for machine demonstrations. Thoroughly and independently oversee riggers during installation of CM machines and associated equipment in a customer’s facility. Recommend improvements for area product and processes. Work closely with the Factory Service organization on difficult problems and corrective action. Interact professionally with customers, riggers, and fellow employees. Demonstrate personal leadership; actively participate in or lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts. Train customers and employees. Fully support goals and directives on ISO 9001 and 14001 policies and procedures. Produce and maintain a consistent quality of work while working safely in an environmentally responsible manner.
