About the Role – Field Technician - Level 1

The Field Technician (FT) is responsible for collecting and distributing bikes throughout the Client service area. The primary goal of the FT is to efficiently collect and distribute e-bikes to maximize e-bike availability. The FT Level 1 is responsible for safely and efficiently navigating a large van in dense urban areas to optimize the number of bikes picked up and collected. Additionally, the FT is also responsible for responding to dispatch, investigating outlying bike issues and reporting to the Lead Field Technician (LFT)

Responsibilities

  • Operate, load, and unload a large van to collect and distribute bikes
  • Use Client’s maintenance software to locate and collect bicycles
  • Communicate with the Lead FT and respond to incidents
  • Recover stolen bikes
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by following safe work practices and procedures
  • Perform routine inspection and redistribution of bicycles
  • Document damage to Client vans and equipment
  • Identify, document, and recover bikes requiring in-shop repair
  • Log maintenance activity in software through wireless tablet
  • Engage with and respond to customers in the field

Pay - $15/hour (paid weekly)

Shift – AM & PM

Hours: Part-time (20 hrs/wk)

Days – Monday-Thursday
