POSITION: Financial Analyst 3 (Internal Auditor)
LOCATION: Pittsburgh, PA
HOURS: 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM M - F (flexibility with set hours)
DURATION: 5 months (possible extension or direct hire)
PAY: $52.00 /hr.

Key Responsibilities:
Job Description:


Conducts execution of internal audit plan by leading or conducting financial, compliance or operational audit projects including the examination and evaluation of the adequacy of internal controls.


Performs analysis of financial data controls, operational controls and procedures to ensure compliance. Makes recommendations to enhance operational efficiencies.


Prepares work papers to support audit scope, objectives, work performed, findings and conclusions reached. Performs testing of key controls and documents results.


Presents audit findings to audit management for the development of reports and recommendations.

5+ years of internal audit experience, preferably in banking or financial institutions


Big 4 Public Accounting, preferably working on banking or financial institutions


Accounting or Finance Major


Above average communications skills


Ability for critical thinking (this is not a ‘check the box’ audit mentality)


Ability to challenge management in a positive way


Internal Audit Manager Level Resource


General Human Resource and HR Compliance Experience


Part-time resource to assist with audit of HR Talent Management and other HR audit areas

Business need for this role:




Team has required audits that need to be completed before 3/31/18

Ability to manage small to medium size project


Ability to multi task


Manage more than one project simultaneously


Strong Analytic skills


5-6 years audit experience


Ability to manage 5 people or more with in a project
