12 Month W2 Contract

$50.00 per hour depending upon experience

Monday thru Friday Mon-Fri, 40 hrs/week

 JOB DESCRIPTION: 
This position provides planning, forecasting, reporting and financial analysis support for assigned line(s) of business and/or at the total segment level under the guidance of financial management. In addition, the Financial Analyst provides highly specialized financial consulting and analytical support at the assigned line(s) of business or total segment level identifying key emerging financial trends, measurement of key performance metrics and success factors, line of business and total segment financial target setting and measurement, capital budget and key initiative evaluation and planning, cost and product profitability analyses, specialized reporting and support for special projects. 

MUST HAVE: 

  • Obtain an understanding of FASB's new credit losses standard (CECL- Current Expected Credit Losses) and how it impacts the Bank's internal and external reporting 
  • ssist with documentation of policies and procedures related to CECL model 
  • Adapt/build/test reports for CECL allowance for loan loss and impaired loan 
  • Post CECL ACL/PCL delta entries during parallel period 
  • Prepare SOX reconciliations surrounding the Allowance for Loan Loss Calculations 
  • Work with both internal and external auditors 
  • Assist other team members/departments with various projects 
  • Conducts structured, one-off and/or routine financial analysis as it applies to area of responsibility 
  • Understands the finance function and the key business supported 
  • Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy but also have strong analytical skills.
  • Must be able to manipulate large amounts of data in 
  • Excel and have experience with pivot tables, v-lookups, filters, etc. 
  •  Bachelor’s degree or progressive work experience
  •  3-5 years related experience required 
  •  Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills 
  •  Ability to manage competing priorities effectively, making good decisions based on business priorities and objectives
