Type:                     Fulltime (40 hours / week) contract

Length:                 6 months+

Pay:                       $36.58-$37.00/ HR Based on Experience

Shift/Hours:       8A – 5P

 

Responsibilities for this Financial Analyst position include but are not limited to:

The role interacts with global and regional procurement, as well as division finance and Supply Chain leadership to deliver accurate and timely analysis and reporting to support business needs. The role is a part of a broader NA Supply Chain finance team that focuses on improving processes and adding value to the businesses, while looking for opportunities to increase the company’s earnings.

  • Performs overall monthly reporting and analytics specific to procurement spending, including purchase price variation (PPV), Year-over-Year Cost of Sales, 3rd party contract manufacturing for our chemical and equipment raw materials;
  • Provide support with reporting, budgeting and forecasting over legacy light fleet and fuel expenses, including monthly accruals, tracking of rebates, divisional breakout and communication.
  • Support forecasting and month end reporting for Canada PPV;
  • Assists with a variety of company’s cost and inventory system updates (CAS & SAP) specific to procurement (materials), inbound freight and 3rd party manufactured goods;
  • Performs accounting, tracking and reconciliation of vendor rebate accrual;
  • Assists with teams’ initiatives around process improvement and documentation;
  • Assist with SAP deployment implementation related to procurement finance including interim and end-state BI and SAP reporting

    Qualifications for this Financial Analyst position:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of direct accounting or finance experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/MS Office skills
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA and/or MBA
  • Strong accounting and financial aptitude and strong detail orientation
  • Supply Chain finance or Procurement Finance experience
  • Forecasting and budgeting experience
  • Experience with SAP and BI data warehouses
  • Strong organizational, communication and team-building skills, coupled with the ability to work independently
