Financial Analyst – Intermediate – Warwick, RI
39 weeks
Monday – Friday
$40.93 / hr.

Specific Duties


Works closely with data team to create or provide existing reports to support operational and product analysis


Oversees medium to large projects and/or phases of projects of larger scope to implement new and/or modified processes, procedures, and/or initiatives


Runs project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis


Provides updates to business leadership regarding project status and the application and implementation of new or revised procedures, processes, and/or initiatives


Provides information and/or training to end users to help resolve inquiries related to assigned processes, procedures, and/or initiatives


Performs other duties as assigned or required


Good at using spreadsheets and databases to analyze information


Good financial analysts know how to apply the tools available in spreadsheets and databases to pull together disparate data, solve problems, and present information to management


Compiles and analyzes financial information for an organization


Develops reports, reports, and presentations


Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately


Identifies trends and developments and presents findings to management


Must Have:


Requires a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area


Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within insurance


Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals


Experience in MS Excel and MS Access required


Performs a variety of operational tasks


Works under general supervision


A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required


Reporting to Director of Operations
