Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: 3 months
Hours: M-F 8am to 5pm
Pay: 25.00$ - 35.00$ (Depending on Experience)






MAIN FUNCTIONS


Provides analytical support in order to deliver financial results.
Works with internal workers and external vendors to resolve issues and provide ad-hoc financial analysis.
Prepares cost reports including forecasts/outlooks.
Assists with allocation of funds for projects based on approved budgets and monitors project accounting.
Validate invoices, expenditures and change requests impacting budgets.
Identifies and implements improvements to cost management processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Position is a support role requiring more work direction whereby worker follows generally defined procedures.
This position might be described as Junior Financial Analyst, who normally performs basic financial analysis and routine financial reports under high supervision.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS


Fluency in Spanish (preference, but not requirement)
Accuracy and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal communication ability
Interest in working in team environment
Experience in use of Excel, Word and Access
Experience with financial reporting and data analysis


SCOPE OF WORK

Execute monetary funds transfers on daily basis using bank systems
Confirm instructions with banks for foreign exchange and investment operations
Maintain files supporting cash management operations
Prepare reports and letters to banks (LOIs)
Interface with affiliates and banks to obtain information
Monitor and reconcile daily TMS rate files
Set-up and maintenance of TMS Payment Templates for cash movements
