Position: Financial Analyst

Location: Princeton, New Jersey

Duration: 6 months contract/ likely extensions

Department Profile

As a member of a very small, high profile team the incumbent will be a key participant in a broad range of treasury support functions. This position main responsibility will include Financial Analysis, Forecasting, Budgeting and analysis of bank /program activity for the client and its subsidiary operations. Prepare and gather information for long term (1 year) cash flow forecast along with monthly variance/trend analysis.

Responsibilities for this position include

  • Prepare and be responsible for daily domestic and international cash management processes which includes setting cash position, positive pay, wire transfer /ACH operations for all disbursement accounts.
  • Reconciling and recording all, credit card transactions, foreign currency drafts payments, ARC processes, client bank reconciliations, and remote data capture services as well as deposit services for headquarter and subsidiary companies.
  • Provide bank account analysis variance analysis, journal entry preparation and budget for bank fees.
  • Assist with monthly budget and forecast updates for Treasury Department.
  • Responsible for the analysis and research of discrepancies of bank charges on various bank account analysis statements, prepare trend analysis, preparation of journal entries and establishment of a monthly accrual amounts.
  • Assist Treasury Manager with subsidiary cash forecasts.
  • Maintain and update organized documentation in addition to process and procedure manuals for cash, budget, forecast, and bank account analysis and all departmental activities.
  • Evaluate and recommend cash management systems to optimize efficiencies.
  • Ensure department compliance with processes and policies and ensuring that all process and contingency manuals are updated and tested on a regular basis.
  • Assist with oversight of Escheatment for all disbursement accounts.
  • Handle and assist with special Treasury related projects and resolve issues assigned.


Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration

Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses:

  • Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CTP or CCM desirable


Work Experience:

3 -5 years in Financial Analysis is preferred


Other Requirements

  • Independent self-starter with the ability to work independently and accurately.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, oral and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple information sources from various company departments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong customer service orientation.




  • Strong PC Excel Skills. Knowledge of People Soft a plus.
  • Must demonstrate excellent analytical judgment and decision making skills.
  • This is a fast- paced environment and hence ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and organize workload is essential.
