5+ Month contract, pay rate: $21/hr

Description/Requirements

Our Performance Reporting teams are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all performance data as well as timeliness of periodic performance reports. The Performance Reporting Analyst will conduct proactive quality assurance, problem resolution, and provide ongoing assistance to Branch Offices, US Trust Portfolio Managers and internal partners with respect to performance analytics and reporting. Reports supported include monthly/quarterly/annual performance reports, as well as ad-hoc performance reporting.

Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities will include analyzing portfolio performance, quality assuring the work performed by internal tools and outside vendors, support and partner with the Financial Advisor/US Trust Portfolio Manager community, and facilitate adjustments to the investment performance measurement systems as needed.

This Analyst will support inquiries via email and phone. This role is also a liaison between Merrill Lynch branch offices and external vendors regarding any inquiry related to investment performance reports. Additional responsibilities will include the testing of all systems enhancements and new development, and understanding of US Trust performance calculations.

Desired Skills:
• 2 – 3 years prior experience in the financial industry
• Investment performance reporting knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot complex investment performance problems
• Prior experience providing customer service
• Detailed and analytical
