Adecco is currently looking for a Fixed Income Operations Officer / Trade Support/ Trading/ Operational Support for a premier Financial Client.

This is a 6+ Months- possible temp-to-hire opportunity
Schedule: MF 9:00-5:00pm

Job Description:

Fixed Income Operations Officer

• Seeking a highly motivated and high-performing individual with a proven ability to deliver results in a dynamic global operations organization
• A self-starter who is comfortable in a complex role that interfaces regularly with clients, front office, technology, finance, and trade support teams
• Able to proactively seek to improve current work flows to better support clients
• Effectively manage and communicate requirements to ensure shared understanding and agreement

The accountabilities of the role include:
• Communicate with front office and clients on a daily basis
• Liaise with customer to coordinate receipt of allocations
• Ensure client trades are allocated in an accurate and efficient manner
• Affirm/Confirm trades with clients
• Work with various operation teams and front office to resolve issues and improve client support
• Create a more efficient client communication process
• Identify process changes to measurably improve operational efficiency and drive process simplification
• Work with clients to provide various levels of support based up client needs
• Articulate and drive creative solutions for key project
• Work with technology to improve STP rates

•Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales/trading/operational support function or technology/systems role
• Capital Markets knowledge – especially in Fixed Income - along with critical thinking and data management skills
• Ability to independently navigate and effectively address requirements in a fast-pace, rapidly evolving environment
• A strong ability to collaborate with others and a proven ability to make an impact
• Excellent communication skills to develop professional relationships with clients and internal sales staff
• Exceptional problem solving capabilities and an ability to collect and analyze data and provide insights
• Sound analytical skills with the ability to ‘think outside of the box’
• Advanced Excel – knowledge of macros
