Adecco is assisting a local client in Middlebury, VT recruiting for Floor Operators. In this role you will be responsible for utilizing various pieces of equipment and under the direction of the Production Supervisor, packages cheese into 680lb blocks or 40lb boxes meeting or exceeding company and customer quality specification. If you meet the qualifications listed below please email a resume to burlington@adeccona.com or call 802-658-9111. 

 

Responsibilities for this Line Operator: 

  • Will work as part of a team cleaning cheese and milk processing equipment and surrounding facilities, including set-up and pre-operation inspection of production equipment, machinery, and environment.
  • Must have good communication with fellow workers to organize and complete necessary sanitation tasks.
  • Will maintain a sanitary working environment.
  • Will insure that accurate Sanitation records are maintained including the Master Sanitation Schedule, chemical concentration logs, and related periodic equipment inspection check-off sheets.
  • Review daily production schedules and understand work requirements.
  • Understand specific standard operating procedures and product production specifications.
  • Inform appropriate parties when problems are encountered.
  • Must organize supplies and equipment needed for work shift, prior to operation
  • Understand collator operation, computer screen, and tower belt operation for 640 Line, including appropriate disassembly for sanitation.
  • Ensure that production area is kept clear and free of hazards; keep working area clean and organized.
  • Ensure that finished product is packed into appropriate packaging, packaged correctly, or placed in applicable pallet configuration.

Position Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

Schedule flexibility and willingness to work overtime required.

Ability to learn and follow SQF, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HAACP), GMP’s and sanitation regulations.

Ability to read and write and possess mathematical and weight measurement skills.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to set up equipment, adjust settings and make mechanical assessments.

Must be able to work effectively in a multi-tasking detail-oriented environment with minimal supervision.

Ability to foster and support a Team environment through good interpersonal skills.
