Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details:                 

JOB SUMMARY
Oversees the design, development and maintenance of all supported tax and non-tax forms necessary for H&R Block’s tax products. Oversees the review of Federal and State form specifications to ensure forms meet the required standards. Ensures that a final proof of the forms has been completed prior to submission to taxing agencies. Maintain a good working relationship with federal and state taxing agencies. Hire, train, and mentor seasonal development team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for the submission of assigned portion of approximately 3300 tax forms handled by the department.
2. Oversees the design and development of non-tax product specific forms as needed as well as official government forms.
3. Oversees the review of taxing agency specifications to ensure specifications are followed.
4. Translates form specifications into tax sample data requests.
5. Assembles and delivers the completed forms’ submission packages to taxing agencies.
6. Establishes and maintains professional relationships with the Internal Revenue Service and state and local government taxing agencies. Ensures timely resolution of production issues reported by taxing agencies.
7. Ensures daily status reports are distributed.
8. Develops and maintains forms’ development procedures and documentation.
9. Interview, hire, train, and mentor seasonal forms development team members.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements
1. Two years’ experience using graphics software to create forms.
2. Two years’ experience using computers to include demonstrated knowledge of windows-based software and operating systems with advanced computerized file-management skills.
3. Demonstrated coaching/supervisory skills, experience leading a team of people.
4. Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
5. Analytical, creative and detailed oriented skills.
6. Ability to handle multiple jobs quickly and accurately.
7. Very strong record-keeping and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Associates Degree in Computer Technology or related field.
2. Three years’ experience using graphics software.
3. One-year supervisory experience.
4. Adobe Acrobat Professional with LiveCycle Designer experience.
