Freelance Digital Marketing Coordinator

Adecco Creative is assisting our client, a global food and beverage company, in their search for a freelance Digital Marketing Coordinator. This is a full-time freelance role, working 40 hours per week onsite in the client’s Stamford, CT offices, and expected to last on a long term / ongoing basis with the potential to become temp to perm.

The location is easily accessible from NYC’s Grand Central Station and shuttle service is provided to and from the train station. The role will be compensated on an hourly basis and benefits, including medical and transit, are available via Adecco.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will support the company’s direct-to-consumer delivery service business and reports to the Senior Manager, Acquisition. The business is in the midst of an unprecedented transformation with the goal of delivering exponential growth. A critical contributor to achieving success is the ability to acquire new customers at scale and at an accelerate rate through performance digital media.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will play an instrumental role in delivering this scalable growth. Specifically, this person will lead a broad range of strategic and tactical acquisition marketing initiatives to drive growth as well as be responsible for the overall results of this growth driver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with development and implementation of the overall customer acquisition strategies and associated tactical plans from target setting to tracking to measurement.
  • Manage a budget aggressively.
  • Oversee delivery of core online acquisition campaigns across Programmatic Display, Paid Social, and Paid Search channels, optimized towards the most efficient Cost per Acquisition.
  • Help develop and execute robust audience segmentation strategies, including prospecting and remarketing.
  • Help identify and scale new acquisition channels including partnerships with online retailers, and new emerging platforms (e.g., Instagram, Oath, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Help develop impactful, consumer-relevant creative that also delivers strong direct response results to deliver acquisition commitments.
  • Partner with the website team to develop robust A/B testing roadmap for website conversion optimization.
  • Collaborate with Customer Contact Center to maximize sales conversions of this channel.

Key Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in advertising or marketing
  • 1-2 years direct response marketing experience 
  • Experience managing, optimizing and growing direct response online media campaigns and partnerships
  • Knowledge of Programmatic Display, Paid Social and Paid Search media; ecommerce website background a plus
  • Superior analytic skills, and the ability to compile, analyze and leverage performance data to both identify new opportunities and optimize current campaigns
  • Proficiency with media tracking tools, web analytics tools and business intelligence tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Tableau, etc.)
  • Understanding of website conversion metrics including impressions, click-through rates, email open rates, conversion rates, etc.
  • Knowledge of advertising creative development, including an understanding of how consumers engage with direct response media and the levers that drive performance
  • Minimal travel required
