Freight Broker

Our client's goal is to be the best international third-party logistics provider in the nation. As a Freight Broker /Carrier Sales Executive you will act as a liaison between manufacturers/shippers and carriers with the support of an operations team contacting trucking companies (carriers) to negotiate rates and move freight for our customers. This is a fast-paced role, with a great deal of multi-tasking, problem solving and communication with drivers and associates to accomplish goals.

Essential Functions:

Self-starter and motivated to achieve
Rate Negotiation with Customers and Carriers.
Carrier Acquisition and Sourcing
Strong Customer Service Skills
Strong Relationship with Account Management Team and Operations Team

Help with the Development and Management of Accounts
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Possess good problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong verbal communication skills
Comfortable with computer and using multiple applications duties as assigned.
