The Front Desk Agent position is designed to increase customer satisfaction by providing efficient and courteous.


Front Desk service. Hours:

• 7am to 3pm

• 8am to 4pm

• Must be able to work weekends. Santa Clara, CA


• Provide value added service to customers exceeding customer expectations Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors

• Demonstrate teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed Handle difficult situations effectively

• Meet service standards Perform other duties as required to provide service and teamwork

• Provide quality service to the customer by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously during check-in, check-out, and throughout stay

• Register, process, greet customer promptly, and welcome him/her to the hotel

• Respond to customer requests for information about the hotel

• Arrange for special services requested by the customer Stay current with developments in the hotel by reviewing the communication to each shift; Arrange fulfillment of customer services by working with courtesy van staff, housekeeping, reservations, and maintenance Minimize loss of revenue by adhering to all established credit and inventory control procedures

• Ensure all customers establish credit or pay cash upon check-in

• Monitor customer accounts to ensure adherence to hotel credit limits and verifies accuracy of registration information Improve timeliness of cash flow by adhering to all established credit and inventory control procedures

• Verify all information on reservations check-in; name, address, method of payment, etc.

• Retrieve proper name and address verification and proper approval codes for cash and credit card paying customers Identify and records special billing instructions

• Complete shift closing accurately by getting appropriate approval signatures and authorization codes

• Adhere to hotel policies regarding the use of cash banks, drop/deposit logs, etc.

• Increase revenues by offering customers upgraded rooms

• Follow yield management procedures while making room reservations


• Must be friendly Must have basic computer skills or the ability to learn hotel systems
