Responsibilities, Qualifications, & Details:                 

 

  • Supports Specification management team and works to ensure all product specifications are created and maintained in an efficient manner.
  • Assist with data entry and validation of information in support of finished product specification creation in Brand Compliance. Support data validation and packaging file management in the owned brand food commercialization process.
  • Works effectively with technical resources/subject matter experts to obtain accurate information to support the data validation and creation efforts.
  • Maintains product specification files within the system used to communicate/share product specifications with vendors and manufacturing facilities.
  • Respects the guidelines, requirements and protocols for enduring the security and confidentiality of all product information considered proprietary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Food Product Development Director Including:
    Assisting the PD staff with sample inventory
    Test Kitchen maintenance, Product evaluation, cutting, & Product Guidance support.

 

Must Have:

 

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Detail oriented
  • Task oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks; flexibility, independence and a high degree of initiative
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction and with a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • High energy level – is able to handle a high volume of activity
  • Delivers timely and quality work
  • System/Technology Aptitude
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, and move or lift boxes weighing up to 25 pounds
  • This assignment is looking at about 3 months long.
