Adecco is currently assisting a local financial services client in their search to fill an General Office Clerk in Warwick, RI!

Job Description:
- Maintaining and updating agency information and agent information.
- Using spreadsheets, email correspondence, customer service skills with phones.

Job Skills:
- Candidate should be someone with a good technical aptitude.
- Candidate should have proficient experience using excel.
- Candidate should have good communication skills.
- Candidate should be able to take direction and learn quickly.
- Candidate should be trainable, and learn quickly.
- Good time management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Candidate should have prior office and business experience.

Work Schedule:
- this is a 40 hour per week role.

- Interview Process:
- One phone interview followed by an in-person interview.

• Contracts/Appointments for sales distributions, Examines and evaluates inquiries; replies by email
• Performs various support functions in accordance with standard procedures and under specific instructions.
• May examine various transactions and documents for correctness to ensure compliance with company guidelines and for recording purposes.
• May select, classify, or compile information from several sources in order to prepare reports or studies.
• May examine and evaluate inquiries and reply by telephone or standard form letter.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.


Must Have:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Previous strong call center/customer service
