GEOG - Electrical Engineer III



*Looking for experienced candidates. 5-10 years.
*Software programming experience (no specific language required)
*Test Automation experience

-Examples of programming languages: C, VB,, LabView, among others
-Regarding Test Automation experience: this worker will need to understand current product build/testing processes, and then develop new version. They would not execute the tests, production will do that once we launch.
-Electrical systems that the contractor will work on: Neutron detector sensor, and internal electronic boards, connectors, etc.

The Electrical Manufacturing Engineer will develop and implement new and improved methods for manufacturing, assembly, and testing of various sensors (harsh environment sensors used in radiation monitoring, nuclear reactor, and oil exploration). The individual will be responsible for supporting New Product Introduction projects.

Role Summary/Purpose
• Work collaboratively among the manufacturing and technology teams to drive improvements into electrical assembly, test setups, yield at test, test automation and storage and retrieval of data
• Assure product quality by designing electrical testing methods, testing finished products and system capabilities
• Contribute to NPI (New Product Introduction) programs throughout prototype, pilot, and production launch stage gates
• Lead all aspects of capital equipment procurement and/or upgrades
• Develop and maintain manufacturing, assembly, and testing specifications and related documentation packages
• Support Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) projects as needed
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
• 5-10 years minimum experience
