Global Logistics Manager


Provides day-to-day leadership to staff including but not limited to recruiting, selecting, training as well as disciplining and providing conflict resolution; develop personal growth opportunities.
Guides staff in logistics procedures, laws, developments and documentation. Provides expertise to organization in regard to freight forwarder, carrier evaluations, and worldwide tariffs and duties.
Oversees the strategic global logistics between various global manufacturing partners and customers requiring the facilitation of inbound and/or outbound goods from CA.
Champions the movement of finished goods globally including point to point drop shipments and analyzes the routing options based on risks and trade agreements.
Participates in the strategic supply chain decisions involving major routing changes, new sites for manufacturing plants and/or locations for new distribution centers.
Manages export laws and documentation as well as being the focal point of export regulations/ records for the organization. Ensures all documentation is provided with shipments, including Packing List, CI, COO, SLI, BOL, etc.

Logistics Coordinators USA & International


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or International Management; and 5 years' experience in routing freight for a manufacturing company; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
International logistics experience, a must.


Working knowledge of International Traffic Coordination working through Brokers, Freight Forwarders and 3PL's with experience in routing freight on Ocean Air, Over Land and Intermodal.
Understand the documentation requirements for inbound and outbound shipments. Knowledge of requirements for LC shipments and Import Export Regulatory Compliance. Knows INCOTERMS, VAT and HTS codes.
Exposure to BIS Export regulations, Customs Import regulations and EAR Export regulations.
Work independently and foster a cooperative spirit within a large and/or small team environment while maintaining flexibility and positive perspective to pressure situations within a global matrix-organization structure.


APICS Certificate in Supply Chain Management, a plus.
