Responsibilities for this Global Threat Analyst position include but are not limited to:

Support the clients travel risk management program;

• Manage the day-to-day use of chosen providers service offerings and enable maximum utilization;

• Monitor employees via providers travel tracker tool and ensure proper level of support is provided to travelers;

• Work with  key team members to assure that proper support is provided quickly and efficiently

• Be well-versed with procedures that ensure that travelers are prepared, educated, informed and supported before, during and after travel should any security or health related issue arise;

• Provide response to incidents affecting travelers and oversee emergency response plan alongside designated point of contact. This includes provision of timely contextual information during an incident and advice on specific implications for Assurant and appropriate escalation;

• Communicate with/report to key contacts and strategic partners;

• Ensure an appropriate level of communications to all affected travelers;

• Support the Assurant security team with day-to-day travel risk management matters;

• Provide tailored travel risk assessments as requested;

• Provide intelligence assessments as requested;

• Support internal escalation planning and preparation initiatives.

Qualifications for this Global Threat Analyst position:

 Degree-level qualification in politics, international relations or related subject, or equivalent work experience

• Post-graduate qualification in politics, international relations or related subject or equivalent work experience desirable

• Proven experience in travel- or security-related fields, including in military, government, non-government organizations, journalism; or relevant academic studies

• Experience in writing for senior management and business decision-makers

• International travel or expatriate assignments

• Five years' experience in Global Threat Analysis/ Travel Risk Management
